I love creating a style that is a bit more “moody” — not the overexposed “light and airy” look that is so frequently used in wedding photography. I like being able to see detail, not casting away half the image into a white haze. I lean into the shadows, contrast, and love warm and earthy tones that feel “organic”.

I also am a believer that you should spend your wedding day being present and celebrating your love with your family and friends–not constantly being posed and imposed upon. That’s why I try to incorporate a documentary, “fly on the wall” approach to my style to minimize disruption and distraction to your day, and when posing is necessary, I make it quick, easy, and unobtrusive.

Every couple is unique, so I don’t believe every wedding should be captured and edited with the same impersonal formula. My goal is to get to know you before your big day, so that I can lean into what makes you and your love story special, and highlight that in the way I shoot and edit. Some couples may be more reserved and prefer an intimate, classic feel. Others may be the wild life of the party and want that energy captured with excitement in their wedding film.
